Nowadays, some people are choosing to socialize online than face to face. Is this a positive or negative development?
Technology has brought a revolution in the way we communicate. In the present time, there are many people who prefer to communicate online rather than face to face. I believe that this is a positive development and I have some reasons to prove my views which I am going to discuss in the upcoming paragraph.
To begin with, I personally believe that it is a good development foe people as people cannot communicate with their family because of their work. So, in this present time smart phones have been launched and there is a special feature of video calling in them due to which people can communicate and see their family members.
To add on, it is an excellent development for the children also as during the Covid pandemic, schools were closed so the children were not able to attend their school physically that time online classes helped them a lot. It is also a great development for those who are disabled and cannot go to school as they can continue their studies sitting at home.
Moreover, it is a brilliant development for the companies as the employees working in their respective companies can work from home by communicating with their clients and boss online rather than going to office. For example, if an employee has to attend an important meeting late at night then they can easily join the meeting by doing a video call which makes people feel like they are communicating face to face.
To sum up, technology has benefited us a lot and has made the communication easier than before so I believe it is a positive development because not only students are getting the benefit of attending online classes and interacting with their families when they are away but also other people of society can also enjoy the advantages of it.
