One place I would like to visit for a short period is Delhi, the capital city of India. Although I have visited the city before, I plan to visit again in February 2025 for a couple of days. I will go with a close friend who is also an avid reader and enjoys exploring new places.
The main reason I want to visit Delhi is that the World Book Fair is held in the city during that time. It is one of the largest book fairs in Asia, and despite the hustle and bustle of the city, it offers a calm environment where book lovers can indulge in literature. Since I’m passionate about reading and writing, this event is an exciting opportunity for me to explore the latest publications and interact with other authors and publishers.
I plan to stay for only a short period because Delhi can be overwhelming, with its fast-paced lifestyle, crowded streets, and unpredictable weather. Instead of staying for a long time, I feel that a brief visit will be ideal for me to experience the book fair and explore a few iconic places like India Gate and Qutub Minar without feeling exhausted. Although I would love to stay longer, I believe the short visit will allow me to enjoy the best of Delhi in a relaxed manner.
