And explain if this type of advertisement should banned by government
I recently came across an advertisement that left me with a rather unfavorable impression. It was for a new weight losing pills claiming to help people lose their weight in a few days. This advertisement appears frequently during my online streaming sessions. Besides this, this hype is quite often played during commercial break on TV.
What made this advertisement unappealing was its exaggerated claims. The commercial portrayed an unrealistic scenario where overweight girls who consumed the product went quite slim and trim and got wonderful transformation in their personality. Such blatant exaggeration and misleading messaging struck me as both irresponsible and deceptive.
The advertisement was not only annoying but also seemed to play on people’s desires for instant success. It played on their weaknesses and made them think they had to get it urgently.
I don’t like the advertisement because these pills can harm the body, according to medical science. Many young people nowadays choose these pills instead of doing exercise, and it can cause a lot of health problems. Sometimes, it even reduces their hunger, making them weak. I don’t support this misleading advertising that puts people’s health at risk.
I firmly believe in the necessity for government oversight on such advertisements. Strict regulations can safeguard consumers from deceptive marketing. Establishing guidelines ensures responsible advertising, protecting public well-being.
