The people can be prepared beforehand about various things such as riots, droughts or even traffic jams provided that they are made aware about it through the national news. Even for situations like a national event, the person can never be unaware if he regularly keeps track of national news.
On the flip side, the opposing group disagrees and states that international news is more beneficial. More and more number of people today is engaged in international share market.
