Some people think that government should knock down old building and make ways for new building other do not agree that old structures should be retained. What do you think is right?
Old monuments are the history of our country which tells us about our past and culture. A majority of individuals believe that government should knock down old buildings and make room to construct the new buildings in contrast other group of people believes that old structures should be preserved. I am going to discuss both the views to reach my perception.
To commence with, a majority of people believe that old buildings should be demolished and new buildings should be constructed there because old buildings are outdated and there is a chance that they may fall at anytime and if they fall down at that time when many individuals are standing there then it will cause the death of many people.
For example, the most tangible paradigm is that few days back in New Delhi an old building collapsed and there were a lot of people standing there and because of that many people died and some were in critical condition.
In addition to this, in this modern era, it is very important to introduce new buildings because old buildings are having the old technologies and nowadays new generation wants new technology and new infrastructure so that they can easily and comfortably work and live.
Alternatively, some people believe that old buildings should be preserved because old buildings are the great source of knowledge for architecture and also architectures learn many things from old monuments that how old people work to built such type of buildings. Moreover, old buildings are also a great source of knowledge for youngsters that how their ancestors used to live and also old buildings tells them about past and culture.
Finally, those old buildings are dangerous as in their deteriorating form they may lead to some serious tragedy and the suggestion of demolishing it is very genuine but I personally recommend as far as possible the buildings which has religious and historical significance, where the specimen of architecture should be preserved.
