To begin with, the people who are in the favour of travelling opine that traveling is the best way to learn about a country because it allows for rich experiences and firsthand encounters with its culture, people, and landscapes. Traveling lets one directly engage with local customs, languages, and cuisines, providing a deep understanding that goes beyond what one can get from watching screens.
Additionally, travel often leads to unexpected discoveries and personal growth, giving you a broader perspective. For example, by visiting Rome, you can truly feel the atmosphere of ancient Roman emperors by exploring their old palaces.
On the other hand, other hold a view that the Internet and television provide convenient access to a lot of information about countries around the world. Through documentaries, online articles, virtual tours, and cultural programs, you can learn about different societies from the comfort of your home. However, virtual exploration might not offer the same depth and authenticity as firsthand experiences.
After scanning both the views, I think the best way to learn about a country is by using both methods.
