Some employers want to be able to contact their staff at all time even on holidays. Does this development have more advantages than disadvantages.
Staying in contact with staff is very important for all employer because employer and staff runs the company. It is generally observed that many employers want to stay in touch with their staff all the time even on the vacations. This development has both merits and demerits which I am going to discuss in upcoming paragraph.
To commence with, there are some benefits for employer to keep in contact with their staff even on vacation because they can easily get the information of what is happening at their work place when they are on their holidays. Staff can easily share every single detail of the emergency projects by which employees can get help and they can take required action.
In addition, another advantage is that if staff member is away for the holidays and the boss wants some important information then if he is able to contact his employee, the work can be continued and completed without getting delayed.
On the flip side, the demerit of staying in contact with the employer on the holiday is that they will not be able to enjoy the holidays. Every person want to feel relax and calm on vacation if they stay in touch with any staff or employer, they wear stress in their mind and even do not feel like continuing their job. They feel irritated as they could not enjoy their holiday.
To sum up, it has both merits and demerits but I personally believe that advantages overweigh the disadvantages because in the case of emergency it becomes important to contact the person which can also save the company from many crisis.
