Some schools have restricted the use of mobile phones. Is it a positive development or negative development?
Invention of mobile phones has changed the life style of people a lot. It is observed that use of mobile phone is confined in some academic institution. I think it is a positive development and I have some relevant reasons which I am going to discuss in upcoming paragraph.
To begin with, I tend to believe that schools have restricted the use of mobile phones as the students may not focus on their studies if they use mobile phones in schools and this will affect them by distracting them from studies as most of the students indulge in social media which does not let them bring positive change in their life, so, if school ban the use of mobile phone, student will only focus on their studies.
In addition, the use of mobile phone may lead to health issues because if the student use mobile, it will lead to eye sight problem as posture deformities as they use the mobile while bending their neck for long time. So, it is a good decision to restrict the use of mobile phone in the institution.
Moreover, if the school restrict the use of mobile phone, students will take interest in socializing with each other which may help them in many ways and they play together which help them to indulge in physical activities by which they become fit.
Last but not the least, mobile phones have different applications in it which distracts the students and the keep scrolling until someone reminds them of their studies. So, this waste a lot of time and if they leave these applications they will come out of the virtual world and can see the reality.
To sum up, I personally believe that restricting the use of mobile phones in schools is a definitely a positive development this will help the students to improve their physical, mental as well as social skills and may not get distracted by any kind of social media.
