When choosing a job, the salary is the most important consideration. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Selecting a job carefully is very important so it is generally assumed that salary is the most significant factor of selecting a job. I agree that remuneration is important but there are some other factors which should be taken into considerations before choosing a job. I have some convincing points to prove my views which I am going to discuss in the upcoming paragraph.
To begin with, It is an undeniable factor that salary plays crucial role in selecting job as it is a basic requirement which an individual needs to fulfill the demands of daily life and without sufficient money, it is impossible to survive in this world so people give priority to these perks and perquisites for job selection. Moreover, every person want to raise his standard of living in the society and want to be a successful man. In today’s world, the success of a person is measured by his earning. It is generally seen that if a person earns handsome money, he is treated well in the society. Hence, money plays significant role in the society.
Alternatively, a person spends most of the hours of his day at his work place so other factors such as, job satisfaction, environment, facilities and attitude of the employers and head members can not be ignored. Only the person who is satisfied with his job, can work with full efficiency. A journal also reveals that employees who are satisfied with their job, perform best and work more enthusiastically. Along with this, employees also need appreciation and recognition for their work. When people get appreciation and motivation, they grow. A place where people get equal opportunities, they prefer to work there. So, apart from the salary, these factors are also important.
To recapitulate, good salary is important for everyone as it is needed to fulfill our basic needs and even desires but other factors such as job satisfaction, unbiased behavior of the seniors and healthy environment are equally significant for a person to work.
