At the present time, the population of some countries includes a relatively large number of young adults, compared with the number of older people. Do the advantages of having young population outweigh the disadvantages.
It is an undeniable fact that the increasing population has become a threatening issue around the world. It is generally seen that , in this modern scenario, population of younger people is more as compared to older citizen of the society. Inspite of having demerits, I believe that the merits of having young people are more which I will discuss in the subsequent paragraphs.
To commence with, there are several merits of having young population. First and the foremost is that young generation makes the nation more advanced because they are equipped with the knowledge of technology and by using modern technology they can make nation more powerful in every field.
The another pertinent point is that younger people are more enthusiastic and they are healthier due to which they are able to invest their physical strength to enlarge the development of a particular nation. For example, in New Zealand maximum number of people are young. Because of this, the nation is more developed as compared to the other nations.
Alternatively, there are few demerits of having younger people in majority. First of all having adult population leads to a problem of unemployment. To explain it, when a country has more strength of youngsters than old ones then government has more liabilities to provide better education and job opportunities. If people do not get jobs then they jump into the crime world which not only increases the ratio of unemployed people but also elevates the crime rate.
To conclude, after analyzing everything I believe that although there are few cons of having more young people in nation but the merits of it cannot be overlooked.
