Some people say that industrial growth is necessary to solve poverty but some people argue that industrial growth is creating environmental problem and it should be stopped. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.
There is no doubt that poverty is a major concern of a country. Owing to this there is a debate as one group of people believe that growth of industries is important to solve the problem of poverty while other oppose it by blaming industries for creating environmental problems, so it should be banned. Scanning both the views will help me to reach my perception.
To begin with, the section of people who are in favor of former view believes that undoubtedly, industries are the main source of income for many people as thousands of workers are hired by industries. Hence, boost in industrialization will lead to generate more job opportunity which helps in improving the stranded of living of the people.
Adding to it, the growth of industries also helps in strengthening the economical structure of the company. With the growth of factories, people get more job option and they are able to get desire salaries. Similarly, after getting good salaries they spend more as result more money circulates in the economy.
Moreover, after getting job more people become tax payers which helps in collecting the funds in the treasury. Eventually, this money can be used for the betterment of the poor people.
Alternatively, there are some people who look the picture from completely different angle as they argue that industries are creating huge environmental problems. They say that these companies emit poisons gases in the environment which deteriorates the quality of air and the atmosphere gets polluted.
Furthermore, there is no doubt that nature has limited resources and industries use these resources such as fuel, water, land and so on a large scale by which the problem of scarcity of natural resources can be seen and if the factories grow, there are clear chances of these natural resources to get depleted.
Finally, I personally believe after analyzing both the views that although industries harm the environment but we cannot ignore it also creates job opportunities for people which helps in strengthening the economy of the country.
