Some people think that government should decide the subjects for students to study in university other believe that student should be allowed to apply for the subject they prefer. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Students learn different types of subjects in university or collage according to their interest. Majority of individuals believe that the law makers should decide the subjects for students to study in collage and rest of the masses believe that student should be allowed to choice the subject what they want. In this essay I will discuss both the views and will give my perception too.
Commencing with former view which is that government should choose subjects for the students to study because only government know in which sector they need employees so, if government will choose the subject, the youngster will get good jobs and nation will get skilled labor. For instance, news was published in the tribune that Canadian government chose subjects for students which results in they got skilled worker. Thus, authorities should choose subjects for students.
Moreover, another reason is to remove unemployment. To explicate it, sometimes when students choose the subjects for their studies but after completing their degree they do not find job because sometimes that sector have limited jobs. So, that is why government should choose the subjects for students though which every student will get job in future and unemployment will be removed.
Shifting towards another view point, when student choose subjects for their collage by their own, they get high scores. To explain it, in this fast paced era, all the students have different interest and when they learn what they want, they do not feel pressure and score good marks. For example, a survey report reveals that the students who get to learn what they what, bring good results and are very satisfied.
Finally, although there are some positive points of the latter notion, yet I personally believe that former notion in which government chooses the subjects for student is good because in this way unemployment will be removed and nation will get skilled workers.
