I hope you’re doing well. I know you’re focusing on studying Indian public events for your thesis, and I have a suggestion. How about visiting my country on January 26th for Republic Day?
Republic Day is a big deal here. It celebrates our constitution coming into effect in 1950 after two hundred years of tough times. We have a grand celebration at the Red Fort, where the Prime Minister raises the flag, and the three defense forces salute it during a lively cultural program at Rajpath.
Being there could provide great material for your thesis, showing the diversity of our country. I can also help set up interviews with important people or regular folks. If you’re interested, my uncle, who works in the foreign affairs department, could help arrange interviews with foreign dignitaries.
